Tanque Verde Ridge Petroglyphs

The Tanque Verde Ridge Petroglyphs are located in the Rincon Mountain or Eastern Unit of Saguaro National Park, Arizona. These drawings are associated with the Hohokam people who lived in and around Tucson and Southern Arizona. They depict a number of interesting things about these people including their use of mazes to show the path or course of ones life, plants and animals of the Sonora Desert, and dress of the people. All interpretations are made by Na CeéNéE.
